A Little about us first:
Thank you for your interest in the Calnet amateur radio repeater system! Currently the system consists of Seventeen analog repeaters operating in the 440Mhz band, access via Allstar Node and DMR access via a dedicated Brandmeister Talk Group. All repeaters are linked full time with a full duplex linked backbone. Any of the sites can be controlled from anywhere in the system.
System Use Policy
Calnet strives to maintain a high-quality linked repeater system that is well-balanced with fair air time for everyone. This ensures everyone and various special events an equal opportunity to use the system and communicate with others in a timely fashion.
Contributing to Calnet
While all repeater system equipment is privately-owned and paid for by various sponsoring individuals, we do incur multiple significant annual radio site rental fees to provide the vast system coverage. Donations are always welcome to help with significant site costs.
As a 501c3 non-profit we are also eligible for donations through various on-line charity venues.
