Calnet Currently operates three high level Yaesu C4FM digital voice repeaters in Southern California and one in Northern California. These repeaters are linked in digital voice to each other via Yaesu WIRES-X. The WIRES-X connection is currently open which allows users to move an individual repeater to another room for a temporary QSO. Only the single repeater you are connected to moves rooms, the others will stay in the default room. Any repeater moved from the Calnet room will return to our room after 20 minutes. Please be courteous of others and check to see if the system is in use before moving the repeater to another room.
All three repeaters are also capable of operating in Analog FM as a stand alone repeater. This means when using any of our digital repeaters in analog FM mode they will not be connected to any other repeater, and that includes no connection to Calnet's linked analog FM system.
